Selection Criteria for PG Courses: Admission to the PG courses at Madras University is offered on the basis of merit in the last qualifying exam. For admission to MBA & MCA courses, candidates must appear and qualify for the TANCET 2024 exam.
Counselling Process: MBA & MCA aspirants will have to appear for a personal interview round for MBA & MCA admission after they have qualified for the TANCET exam.
Confirmation of Seat: Candidates who successfully clear all rounds of admission must pay the prescribed course fee to confirm their seat and secure admission to the Madras University.

On the University of Madras official website homepage, candidates must click on the ‘Admission’ and select ‘Apply Now’ from the drop-down list.
Once candidates are redirected to the Madras University registration page, they can select click on ‘Apply-Indian Candidates’ or ‘Apply-Foreign Candidates/NRIs’ whichever is relevant.
